BAUHAUS
Print, Advertising
OBJECTIVE: Research and choose an era of design, along with three prominent artists from that era, and create an informational poster advertising an exhibition showcasing the era, as well as three brochures each highlighting one of the three artists included in the exhibition.
PROJECT STATEMENT: I chose to showcase the Bauhaus era, Joost Schmidt, Herbert Bayer, and Josef Albers. I designed the informational poster to be a reflection of the most prominent work from all three artists, and the Bauhaus style and design principals. Along with the poster, I created three brochures highlighting each artist that guests would take away with them after walking through the exhibition. The three brochures each include a biography and examples of the artists’ best and most prominent works of art. The brochure designs follow the Bauhaus style as well to compliment the artists and the era. All items from this campaign follow the same design system.
